PlayerTrace for iPhone and iPad
Privacy
PlayerTrace collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
What the app keeps on your device
Two things: the most recent figures it fetched, so a widget shows a number rather than an error when the network drops, and which game you chose for a widget. Both stay in the app's own storage on your phone, are never sent anywhere, and are deleted when you delete the app.
What the app sends
To show player counts, the app asks our server for public figures about games: the most played list, a search you type, or one game's numbers. It sends no personal information, because it holds none, and it carries no identifier for you or your device.
The server runs on Cloudflare. Like any web server it sees the IP address a request comes from. That address is held briefly in memory to rate-limit the service and is not written to a database by us. Cloudflare's request logs record each request's path, status and timing, not search terms.
What the app does not use
No advertising identifier, no location, no contacts, no photos, no device fingerprinting, and no third-party analytics or advertising code.
Sharing
We do not sell or share personal information, because the app collects none.
